www.google.com is not a source, it is a search engine. Great place to start.
Use search terms that are specific. If you want to know about the government of your country type the word government and the name of your country.
www.cia.gov is a great place for government, population, and leadership data. Visit the site and you will see “world fact book” on the right side. Go to the “world fact book” and find your country in the drop down menu.
To find current weather conditions in a country you can visit www.weatherunderground.com and type in the name of your country. It will return information about current temperatures. Since this is current information it would probably be better to return to Google and search “average weather of your country”
There are several currency converters online: (for money exchange rates)
XE.com has one that may meet your needs.
Oanda has one for 164 currencies
Go Currency is another and looks a little more comprehensive and simplistic.
Expedia is one of the best sites to use for maps, flights, hotels, and other travel needs.
I like Booking Buddy for comparison pricing.
