You are welcome to go ahead and post your article summaries and opinions. Go to the forum and start a new topic under the “In the News” section. Choose the correct category: local, state/national, international.
Post a short summary (and a link if you can) then post your opinion. The link will serve as documentation for your article. If you do not have the link just tell us where you found it.
Thanks.
OK, this one needs work for it to be compatible with slideshare. No time to address it now, but I will redo the background so that it is readable.
Check out election 2008 in the forum and discuss the candidates. You may add to the topics posted or start a new topic. All discussion must be respectful. Support your opinions with information from the web. You may post links and excerpts, but please not LONG articles
I am posting a link to an interactive map for electoral voting:

AP US students, your site is ready for me to move content. Slowly but surely your slideshows and other information will be transferred and hopefully will make finding information easier. Other classes, yours is coming.

What is Culture? How does it define who we are? How does where we live define our culture? What impact does government have on culture and society?
Evaluate what you know of culture and what has been mentioned in class. Use any notes or information you have to discuss the above questions. You will be graded on your response based on use of class discussion and information presented. You will be graded on your language and quality of writing. You will be graded on your ability to present your view point and support it with examples.
20 point essay with some room for subjective grading.
Is anyone going to be offended if we wait until Monday for the International Relations test?
Great…then let’s do that.
Several students created PowerPoints to go along with their presentations. Rather than embed all of those here I am linking you to my slideshows on slideshare.net. Simply click and view the one’s you need.
