All classes- Test Friday, be preparing. AP US, stop stressing over the DBQ. WE ARE LEARNING!

Great first full week!

AP US- You should be finished with chapter 2 and well on your way to chapters 3 and 4. Please bring your Lies notes tomorrow so I can review them!

Honors- You should be finished with your chapter 1 worksheets. Don’t fret, you will have plenty of chapter 2 and 3 work to complete this weekend.

Music- Don’t forget your two songs that are so similar you are just certain someone borrowed from someone else!

The Erie Canal, linking Albany and Buffalo (and by extension, the Atlantic Ocean and the Great Lakes),

(A) was financed completely by wealthy investors

(C) greatly increased American agricultural exports to Europe
(D) is not used today for either recreational or commercial purposes
(E) was the last major canal built in the U.S.

AP US- You should be finished with chapter one and have through chapter four read by next week. Make sure you are noting as you read. Purchase 1776 ASAP. Reading groups will be assigned Wednesday. Be expecting a reading quiz!

Honors US- Be working on your assigned section of chapters two or three. Follow the instructions on your assignment sheet. Expect a chapter one quiz this week.

Music Ap- One page on your most favorite song and why it is your favorite.

We’re off to a great start. All classes need to pay close attention to the syllabus. US guys, bring Lies and your notes Monday.

AP US, I cannot stress enough the importance of following your syllabus. We have much to cover and little time. You MUST read to stay on track. Make sure you are taking notes as you read.

H US, you should finish outlining chapter 1 this weekend. Please notice, your syllabus covers chapters 1-3 next week. Work ahead if you have time.

Music Ap, be thinking about what you define as music.

What a wonderful first day! Welcome back guys. I am really excited about this year. I think it is going to be a ton of fun, even though we will be pushing full speed ahead. If you have questions, concerns, or comments email or use the box in the classroom.

Please bring Lies and your reading notes to class. We will be discussing them a little each day. On the handouts page I have posted a pacing guide and list that you will find helpful. Working together I really think we can keep up the pace and successfully cover all of the material by AP/EOC time. I cannot do it alone. You guys will have to read in order to keep up and understand everything that is being taught.
