Int’l Relations
International Relations is a one-semester elective designed to study issues that challenge and concern citizens today, affect the lives of people in other parts of the world, and cannot be adequately understood in a local or national context. Our focus will be politics, population and development, culture, economics, and the environment. Skill development will include, but is not limited to, the interpretation and application of maps, graphs, charts, political cartoons, primary documents, and other social studies tools. Current events and the influence of world events upon the United States will be points of interests.
Students will earn points based upon their participation, adequate and acceptable completion of projects and assignments, as well as tests on instructional material.
